Description:
Leaves seat can be found from the lowlands to 1,500 m asl.
growing wild in the open with enough sunlight or a little shade, and not so
dry. Shrubs for years, growing up or uphill, height of 0.5 - 3 m, with a wooden
leg. Stem round, jointed, rough surface, branching simpodial, 2 cm in diameter,
brown. Single leaf, alternate, leafy leverage, wide winged petiole.
Leaf blade
lanceolate, pointed tip, flat base, flat edge, pertulangan pinnate, length of
10-20 cm, width of 1.5 - 2 cm, young brown, dark green after. Compound
interest, tassel, out of the tip of the stem, crown butterfly-shaped purplish
white color, smooth haired, base attaches. Pods long, 2.5 to 3.5 cm, width 4-6

Utilization:
PART USED:
All parts except the root (herb) may be used.

INDICATION:
This herb is believed to:
- Prevent fainting due to the heat (heat stroke), fever,
colds,
- Inflammation of the tonsils (tonsillitis), mumps
(parotitis), discharge of pus
(Piorea),
- Acute inflammation of the kidneys (acute nephritis),
swollen (edema),
- Inflammation of the intestine (enteritis), dysentery,
- Hookworm infection (hookwonn), tapeworm infection in the
liver,
- Discharge due to trichomonas (trichomonal vaginitis),
- Vomiting in pregnancy, malnutrition in children,
- Jaundice (jaundice hepatitis),
- Poisoning pineapple,
- Tuberculosis of bones and lymph nodes, multiple abscesses,
- Scleroderma,
- Hemorrhoids,
- Rheumatism.
HOW TO USE:
Prepare the herbs as much as 15-60 g sat leaves, then boiled
and drank. External use be used to compress hemorrhoids, abscesses, pain, and
fatigue in the legs with herbs finely ground leaves sitting.
EXAMPLE OF USE:
1. Hemorrhoids:
Take 20 g of fresh leaves, washed
and boiled with 1 cup water
for 15 minutes. After chilling

once. Do it every day.
2. Acute kidney inflammation, edema:
Take the herb leaves sit as much as
60 g, washed and boiled with
3 cups of water until remaining 1
glass. After chilling filtered, drink
once in the morning.
3. Vomiting in pregnancy:

30 g, washed and cut into pieces
necessary. Boil 3 cups of water
until remaining 1 glass.
After chilling filtered, divided for
3 times rninum, ie morning, noon,
and afternoon, each 1/3 cup.
4. Dysentery:
Take a fresh herb leaves sit as much
as 30 g, washed and milled
smooth. Pour 3/4 cup hot water,
leave for 15
minutes. Tip of a teaspoon of salt
added while stirring. Squeeze
and strain. Warm drink as well.
NOTE:
If Berba is added to salted fish and meat, can protect the
food from flies and maggots invasion
Composition:
CHEMICAL PROPERTIES AND EFFECTS pharmacological: This herb
